Central government must radically overhaul and properly fund the education, health and social care system so that each local authority can provide a robust service early. No to broken kids
@WalkingHead65 We’re horrified by the #FailFirstThenFix scenarios which are playing out across UK education at the moment. There is NO SAFETY NET for children experience devastating MH problems. And even if difficulties are acknowledged, #CAMHS are in crisis and the wait for help can be months
Countless members reporting this. School phobia is real. cPTSD is real. MH services slashed to the core. Advice is to force YP back to the very location that triggers them. Kindness & awareness are key, yet so many, including #AutisticGirls put in harms way #FailFirstThenFix

This was our experience. We had a perfect and healthy #autistic child. Transition to secondary bought about cliff-edge MH decline. Autism finally diagnosed, but now lacking holistic #ASC appropriate MH support to help them recover. This is what needs to change. #FailFirstThenFix
