I can't concentrate if the book is read at 1x, I need it to be at 1.5x-2x (depends on voice, the sounds can get annoying at higher speed). No wonder I read v fast

People say to me "Did you speak to me?" when I said something. What? No, I didn't.
The idea that people only speak when they address others is totally absurd to me.

@NeuroRebel Yes. Strangely enough in my childhood in the 1970s being vocal from early on meant one couldn't be autistic. I learned to speak very early, was hyperlexic, only didn't use language to communicate, but for processing & stimming. I still do this a lot.

But we were all still shaped by neurodivergence from the day we were born. 3/
