Super tax for large exporters abolished
As part of the approved Finance Bill 2026, Super Tax will not be applicable to companies whose export receipts exceed 80% of their total turnover during the financial year (compared to Budget proposal of 2% cut in super tax from 10% earlier). This bodes well for large textile exporters including Interloop Ltd (ILP) and Gul Ahmed Textile Mills (GATM). We estimate a 17% impact on ILP FY27E EPS (to Rs15.64) and 27% impact on its Target Price (to Rs137). Buy ILP.
