Witness hundreds of students from across the world contributing to @OpenQuantum_ as they compete to solve the Quantum Rings Challenge in the 2026 @MIT #iQuHACK event.
Won't be long before quantum gigabrains like these are competing for massive payouts on #SN63...
Scenes from last weekend’s #iQuHACK at @MIT!
It was a pleasure to return as a sponsor and engage with the talented students who will make up the future of quantum computing. The innovations made as part of the Quantum Rings Challenge will directly benefit the development of @OpenQuantum_, moving us one step closer to adding hosted simulation to the platform!
Thank you again to @iQu_ISE for hosting another fantastic event!

Last week at #iQuHACK, we got the opportunity to take a look inside one of MIT’s quantum labs. Take a look and see what a real Quantum Computer looks like!
Special thanks to Alex from @qbraid_official for providing us with the footage!

$IonQ 🏆 Incredible results at MIT #iQuHACK!
Congratulations to the team that swept BOTH 1st AND 2nd place, competing against 1000+ participants using @IonQ_Inc technology! 🚀
Despite team size constraints, they split into 2 sub-teams while keeping their solution unified. Judges evaluated their "Schrödinger's Bat" project as one impressive global effort.
Huge shoutout to Ignacio López Leis, Jorge Benito Díaz, Giselle Rocío González, Enrique Anguiano Vara, Abdullah Al Omar Galib & Manuel Esparcia Cantos 👏

Quantum errors never stop. Thankfully, neither do curious students. ⚡🧠
Last weekend we sponsored the @MIT's #iQuHACK, the biggest quantum student hackathon in the US! 🇺🇸
Our challenge was all about quantum error correction (QEC), a must-have ingredient if you want to build a fault-tolerant quantum computer. ⚛️🖥️
We invited teams to design new QEC codes inspired by classical ones, leveraging a defining feature of cat qubits: biased noise. 🐈⬛⚡️
With biased noise, you can protect much more strongly against one error type than the other, and this can reduce the overhead substantially, but only if the code is made to take advantage of it. Students got to test this out, seeing how code design translates into resource costs for fault-tolerant quantum computing. 🔧
What impressed us most was how fast the hackers learned. Students would start a conversation with “I’m very new to error correction,” and then ask sharp questions about things like Reed–Solomon codes, the learning curve was steep! 📈
The result? Teams really pulled it out of the bag. The depth and quality of their work went beyond our expectations. 🚀
Big thanks to the mentors Diego Polimeni and Shantanu Jha for bringing the challenge to life, and most of all to the participants for their commitment and enthusiasm! 🙌
Congrats to our winning teams: YQuanbinator (1st), Mente Fria (2nd), and Redbull Rockstars (3rd) 👏🏆

At #iQuHACK 26, Superquantum moved from theory to infrastructure. Using algebraic codes & rmsynth, they engineered deterministic quantum software. No heuristics—just rigorous, fault-tolerant building. ⚛️

It was a pleasure meeting you and exchanging ideas at iQuHACK ’26 @qBitTensorLabs
Great conversations around quantum computing, simulation, and crypto. Looking forward to continuing the dialogue!
We were thrilled to return as a sponsor at #iQuHACK this past weekend, which gathered over 1400 of the brightest minds in quantum from 76 countries around the world to push the limits of what’s possible. Bob Wold (@BeyondNISQ) and Robert Wamsley were on-site at @MIT, mentoring, troubleshooting, and marveling at the creativity on display.
We’d like to extend a huge congratulations to the Spirit Sprinters, the winners of our challenge, who demonstrated exemplary creativity and ingenuity in both their solution and presentation. Congrats to Hayden Miller, Woody Hulse, Caden Schroeder, Rohan Pankaj, and Patrick Jennings!
The creativity, determination, and teamwork on display reminded us why the next generation of quantum innovators is so exciting, and we can’t wait to see the groundbreaking solutions they’ll build next!
A special thanks to @iQu_ISE for putting on such a spectacular event. It was also great to connect with our friends at @BlueQubitIO, @qbraid_official, @NVIDIAAI, @IonQ_Inc, @ClassiqTech, Alice & Bob, @meetIQM, and @superquantumlab!

And when $QTC hits $1000 the first thing I will buy? You guessed correct, coke and hookers. For more info about the next 10 000x coin, visit https://t.co/puKJEQVkeM. $QTC are right now one of the main sponsors of #iQuHACK besides giants like $nvidia and $quera.
If you are this guy, learn to live a little. Your first move should always, ALWAYS be coke and hookers.

Day 2 is here, and the Superquantum #iQuHACK challenge is now live!
Participants are tackling Clifford+T compilation, Hamiltonian simulation, and state preparation, with a focus on minimizing T-count and approximation error.
You can find the GitHub link to the challenge in the comments under this post. Also, make sure to check out yesterday’s workshop, where Yudong Cao explained the foundations of Clifford+T compilation.
Best of luck to all participants, looking forward to the solutions. Let’s hack!

iQuHACK week at @MIT is almost here!
We’re excited to join researchers, students, and industry leaders for a weekend focused on quantum computing, simulation, and real-world experimentation.
We’re also looking forward to sharing this year’s Superquantum workshop theme, which is closely aligned with current developments in quantum computing … 🔐👀
For participants who are preparing to join, we recommend taking a quick last-minute look at MIT Quantum Winter School 2026 - a series of lectures on quantum computing by students from MIT and Harvard. You can find the resources here:

See you in Cambridge (or remotely)!

In short: sponsors show up with problems, tools, expertise, and career opportunities. That’s what makes #iQuHACK feel like a launchpad.
