@mfrankDude At the moment there are 2 terms I like:
data laundering (evokes money laundering, describes the crime, value is being extracted and washed)
and
#leechware describes the product at the end that requires human artistry to function, yet tries to supplant it.

Remember when creatives were happily going about their work until some millionaires decided to create AI to fix problems no one had, only to result in dozens of additional problems, hundreds of lawsuits, and helping force the shutdown of the entire US film industry? "Innovation."
This is a GREAT analogy for how ML "learns".
While it's still anthropomorphism, it's a lot more accurate than the typical version fronted by AI bros and prompters.

As I said many times before, if a student "learns" like AI, he will not go to classes, read books, learn the fundamentals of programming,but near the final project due date, he will start viewing his classmates' project code only, and try to match his code to his classmates code.
everything 'creative' is a remix of things that happened in the past, plus epsilon and times the quality of the feedback loop and the number of iterations.
people think they should maximize epsilon but the trick is to maximize the other two.
