Just wrapped up a very successful 2-week hands-on Regional Training Course at the Plant Breeding and Genetics Laboratory, Seibersdorf of the Joint FAO/IAEA Centre. The course was focused on #MutationBreeding and Efficiency Enhancing Techniques for Resistance to #Banana #FusariumWilt Race #TR4 in #LatinAmerica with the support from @IAEATC . It was great opportunity to interact with Banana research community and NPPO officers from #Brazil, #Colombia, #Ecuador, #Mexico, #Nicaragua, #Paraguay, #SaintLucia and #Venezuela on strategies to combat Banana Fusarium wilt disease in Latin American.
