Appropriately dosed exercise to challenge what is being targeted (balance, strength, endurance, etc) is essential at any age. To underdose older adults is not only ageist but not supported by literature. Great opportunity to collaborate with #geript #oldnotweak

Agreed. I've pushed many elderly clients with exercises that I'd give people in their teens and 20s. Don't restrict solely on age. Exercise selection should be based on case presentation, psychosocial factors, fitness level, health history & goals. #oldnotweak
Older adults do not need special exercises that are different than younger or middle aged adults. Exercise selection should be based on goals, baseline body structure/function, and maybe health conditions. Not age.
