If you use #starsolo for #smartseq #scRNAseq analysis, remember to update version to 2.7.7a (latest), it fixed an important bug on PE reads!!! This bug may display diff depending on task. For me, older ver prints uneven unmapped mate1/2; fixed in 2.7.7a. https://t.co/9KdAzNwl3Z

Catching up with the presentations from #SCB20. Great talk from @ViolaVolpato from @UKDRI. Using @Takara_Bio_EU @TakaraBioUSA #ICELL8 #SingleCell #SMARTseq they can detect 5 times the number of genes per nucleus compared to @10xGenomics and study isoform variants.

@LGMartelotto @DolomiteBio @seqWell @takarabio @fluidigm @BgI Plate based scRNA-seq offers some advantages. Sorting directly into wells improves recovery for rare cell subpopulations. In cases where multiple samples can't be collected together sorting and freezing the plate for batch processing is convenient #CelSeq2 #SMARTSeq.
