I'm starting to get the distinct impression that more & more reviews on @Amazon are completely fraudulent. For instance, this is a product for "ultrasonic stakes" where a bunch of buried high star reviews are for dietary supplements. #StopReviewHijacking https://t.co/B7FMHt8yBa
These screenshots are all from the same product page on @Amazon.
1: Can opener, the product being sold.
2: Question about bags.
3: 5 star review for wine bottle covers.
4: 5 star review for utensils.
Amazon, you need to handle all your hijacked reviews. #StopReviewHijacking

Who knew a massager can be a paperback or hardcover version? Most of the reviews for this company look to be for books when that is not what they are selling. I am sure people would be upset to see what their real review is under.

When you go to buy a back brace on Amazon, then see that the positive reviews are for baby bibs from another seller??? That's a practice we're calling 'review hijacking.' On @CBSMiami, CR's @JakeSwearingen shares our findings. #StopReviewHijacking https://t.co/eag9W2pFII

@soupOstew @amazon This is called Review Hijacking. It's not a bug, its a feature that's being exploited by sellers on Amazon to intentionally steal reviews that do not belong do them. Be sure to use the hashtag #StopReviewHijacking when you post the examples you find!
