Lalu Gangaram Kamble was traveling on an Activa scooter from Andheri towards Vikhroli. Near Powai, a pothole on the road was filled with water. Unable to gauge the depth of the pothole, his two-wheeler hit it, causing him to fall onto the road. A dumper truck coming from behind ran over him, leading to his death on the spot. Powai police have arrested the dumper driver in connection with the incident. However, the fact that yet another Mumbaikar has lost his life due to potholes has sparked public outrage.
