Last Q was my first Q in enterprise sales and compared to smb/mid-market it was jarring how leveraged the role is.
Its a lot more of a numbers game down market. You’ll work 300 accounts and it doesn’t really matter where your wins come from.
I secretly thought top target accounts were stupid bc downmarket, the accounts that buy are the accounts that buy and its more about finding which ones are in market.
But in Enterprise you need to win whats in front of you - you need to catch the golden snitch

@SalesRoleHunter I love the state schoolification of it all as well, everyone feels like a personality hire so work is genuinely fun w the right shit shooters
There is nothing better in sales than the weeks after you do the “hey look do you want to partner up on this” song and dance with a champion so you’re in the champion honeymoon phase and they’re texting you shit like “yo heads up theres this vp guy you dont know about”
It feels like kids playing spies again its awesome
A friend is frustrated that a girl he's dating is responding slowly, which message leads to better outcomes:
a) If you want to keep going on dates with me you need to respond quicker
or
b) I'd really appreciate if you responded to texts a little quicker
@JoeydeWit_ In a similar vein, if you’re selling infra saas w ACV > $100k you should absolutely be hopping on flights.

Feeling blessed that i have a job where i can hop on a plane to la, get lunch with a vp, move a key deal forward, still hit the gym, and fly home that evening.
I got into sales by accident but damn pound for pound, enterprise selling has to be the most fun job in town
