A lot of Hosp. talent grew up in those systems, & ppl money were eager to back new entrpnrs who had that pedigree

@SumElseThing1 I agree theres a lot of aesthetic masquerading as thought, but simultaneously there is real political economy - gain enough traction advocating vis a vis public works and you find yourself in line for a paycheck. Or if you're a developer in a certain area, etc.

The goal of the project was to improve the accessibility of the public space not increase traffic throughput

@JacobAShell There was also something to the technical coherence but general illegibility of the isolation rules after positive contacts/tests. Seemed like the rules were engendered for a perfect paper exercise rather than general public adoption
