We have run out of words to describe the conditions on the ground in Gaza.

Our Palestine Red Crescent Society @PalestineRCS colleagues like Mohammed are working under unimaginable conditions, struggling to feed themselves and their families as they continue risking their lives for others. The malnutrition of humanitarian workers is a protection threat to them as much as bombs are.

The recent announcement of a series of ‘humanitarian pauses’ in parts of Gaza offers a vital, though temporary, opportunity to deliver aid. But it is not enough. A sustained and protected humanitarian response is urgently needed.
