@Avabelly__ Guessing this is rage bait? The gratuity suggestions are not even correct. It should be off the subtotal not the total. You don’t tip on tax.
@Sage__Born@DataRepublican@BarackObama My doctors won’t even take insurance from the Marketplace anymore because it doesn’t pay them crap. That’s our ONLY choice because we are small business owners. So now I’m paying for ins nobody takes in case of emergency and out of pocket for everything else for my family of 5.
@defendUSA@DataRepublican@BarackObama Yup! on top of those high costs for horrible benefits... every doctor in my area (SoCal) is no longer accepting ins from the only place self-employed can get health insurance. Because they don’t make $ from it! So now I’m paying more than a mortgage for coverage I can’t use.
@TheMightyB____@TMZ Kim hung in there way longer than most would. Especially with some of the things he did (because of bipolar highs). It’s a VERY hard condition to live with & having a dad with it - I knew Ye was... You just know… I don’t envy any spouse of someone bipolar. It’s hard!
@TheMightyB____@TMZ THB - my guess is both women love him but couldn’t handle his bipolar rollercoaster. My dad is bipolar and wasn’t diagnosed/medicated until his late 50’s. What a massive difference meds made. My mom tried but left after 25 years. Probably would not have had he been on meds sooner
@asset_reese19@apurv_anand@crazyclips_ Risk herself? 😂 because she’s dancing? I was past due & danced ALL night at a wedding reception with my 2nd. Mama’s uterus is built to protect that baby. There’s no risk in dancing. Unless you’re actually high risk & not close enough to your due date. Which she’s not.
@UndecidedStilll@CraigDworkin@stclairashley Because our politics suck in CA. Businesses are getting so many demands put on them they’re going to be shutting down soon. Not to mention all the laws that make it so easy for bad employees to scam their employer by making false claims against them.
@MeganMcNagem@CraigDworkin@stclairashley It’s not a tax. It’s xtra to provide health ins for their employees. I live & own businesses in LA. We do not do this, but I have seen it. Any business in US, w/more than 50 employees are required to provide health ins. Many cannot afford to. Health ins for my family is $2700/mo
@WhiskeySlvrBall@CraigDworkin@stclairashley It’s not a tax the city demands. Federal law requires you to provide health insurance when you have 50 or more employees. Many businesses cannot afford that. However, I wouldn’t itemize it to the customer.
@CraigDworkin@stclairashley Exactly! Same with resort fees at hotels! It’s just a turn off when you see these types of fees. Makes you feel nickeled and and dimed. I’m at business owner - I wouldn’t itemize it out.
@stclairashley I don’t know this, but it could be that making it a separate item, allows them to keep it from their taxable income of the business and go directly to employees’ premiums. Tho that should work either way with their taxes. 🤷🏻♀️
@stclairashley I live & own businesses in LA. Federal law requires businesses w/more than 50 employees to provide health ins. Most businesses can’t afford that (my family costs $2700/mo) so that’s probably why. As a consumer, this is a turnoff. I would consider raising menu items 4% instead🤷🏻♀️
