@256Rootyherman I saw in Zanzibar in Feb 2019 street foods guys used gas to make chapatis, shawarma, meat and chicken roasts and fries etc as Tanzania has gas deposits as well. It’s cleaner, hotter, faster and could be eventually cheaper. In Dubai shawarma + street eats are made on gas stoves.
