i think a new wave of companies will create innovative physical objects using a hybrid of composite materials and software intelligence, like office walls that rearrange on request or plumbing pipes with self-reporting leaks. We've seen a glimpse of it in refrigerators but imo the current implementations are still early and poor

Imagine if NFL 🏈 had the authority to arbitrarily and unilaterally block IPs of large scale internet services like Vercel & AWS, to all AT&T and T-Mobile customers.

… And these IPs hosted millions of critical services completely unrelated to football, including health care, government, banking, news, AI, e-commerce, crypto, travel…

… And Vercel was not hearing even the why or the who that the block is targeting.

You can’t imagine it because the people would not allow it.
