@IOHK_Charles I couldn’t agree more. The sad thing is that this doesn’t just hit Bitcoin — it affects the entire crypto space. These PQ problems are eventually going to hit the news, and retail investors are going to go "Ooooh, crypto is dangerous!!"
@shafu0x I don't get why you would discourage junior devs.
Blockchain developers are one of the highest paying jobs in the world.
There clearly is still a lot of demand.
@taipancapital@adam3us@coinbureau People can absolutely prevent you from being a core dev.
Look at what happened with Gavin Andresen. He lost the PGP keys just because he had an opinion on who Satoshi is.
@adam3us@coinbureau If you say it’s nonsense, how is Bitcoin even decentralized then?
The people that use Bitcoin should decide who the developers are and will be.
Changing core devs is something which is absolutely needed.
@WatcherGuru@SteaknShake This seems great but once more and more people start using Bitcoin, fees will spike and adoption will again be 0. It happened in 2017 and will happen again.
If you enjoy thoughtful discussions about systems, incentives, and long-term thinking — feel free to follow or reply. I like learning from people who think carefully. (4/4)
