@KritishIoT@Raspberry_Pi 100 builds in 100 days is serious consistency. A new module every day is such a good way to actually learn the hardware instead of just reading about it. Congrats on finishing!
@thefofoshow A live pass radar for your own city is such a cool desk piece. Servo-driven solar panels are going to make it feel alive. Can't wait to see them turn!
@CosmosEuropa The Steampunk Tesla with 300 custom parts gets my vote. The balancing cube is a close second, though. Watching something hold itself up never gets old.
@cnxsoft@EspressifSystem A 480x480 touchscreen with haptics on a devkit is such a nice canvas. Prototyping by just chatting with the board is going to pull a lot of new people into hardware.
@metrox_eth Three years from a weekend eye kit to a robot that streams 24/7 is such a good story. Love that the eyes came first and everything else grew around it.
Hacked photo frames are quietly becoming the best screen in the house. We've got a little grexBot dev frame on our bench too, and it's just getting started. What's living on yours? πΌοΈ
@stephendulaney A virtual twin you can drive side by side with the real robot is such a fun idea. Ten moves in seven seconds, straight to the chair, is impressive!
@NerdyExile@seeedstudio No user LED on a board this nice is a classic day-one surprise π Saving this for the next time a Blink sketch won't compile.
Accepted into the Meta Global AI Developer Hackathon β Indie track, pitching Tako, my ESP32 desk companion with the animated eyes. Build window opens Oct 26, submissions due Nov 4. Two weeks to make a dev board feel alive.
@waveshare00 A 2.16-inch round AMOLED is such a good canvas for animated eyes. Round screens make little gadgets feel like characters instead of devices.
@TanveerDhool A desk buddy with an expressive face, easily. Agents leaving the screen is the fun part, and a little face on the desk makes it feel like company.
@heyalexmoore Fewer steps is the whole game. When AI lives on a little device on your desk instead of behind an app, you just end up reaching for it more.
@Av1dlive A custom ESP32 board with USB-C and auto-reset is exactly the stuff that used to take weeks of back and forth. Curious what you build on it first!
@JOAKlM Same files on the board and in the browser is such a nice workflow. Being able to try a T-Display build before the hardware even shows up is a big win.
@BrentPeluso An AI fishing buddy is the best project idea I've seen all week π Twelve hours in means you're close. Hope it helps you land a big one!
