Gary's "prediction" is the platonic form of the frustrating "vague verbiage" pseudo predictions that partly motivated Tetlock's work. He makes maybe a single quantitative prediction (if you want to be generous). Everything else leaves enough wiggle room to fly a 747 through

At the extremes, you can probably refute or confirm these predictions. But: what counts as "massive"? What does "disappointing" mean? What counts as a "price war"? What does "very little" mean? What does "robust" mean? What does "modest" mean?
