@bigpoppastonk@BerkelKip@atelicinvest They’re trying to grow their business by acquiring ancillary products that are less sticky than their core solution. It doesn't interest me.
@bigpoppastonk@BerkelKip@atelicinvest In my opinion, QIS isn’t a great business. The core DMS can’t grow its rooftop count, the industry is consolidating, and they don’t have all the OEMs on board for the DMS. CDK or R&R are your only options if you're a large dealer group.
@Robbybrown99 @NestBetter They have said to investors the a spin in something they would be open to doing it. They need to scale it a bit before spinning it out.
@Bonhoeffer_KDS@JerryCap@CJ0pp3l They are already competing with CSU. Look at the new proxy; they are all gone. CSU also bid on all the assets CMG bought, and CMG sold some deals to CSU.
@Bonhoeffer_KDS@JerryCap@CJ0pp3l I agree with you that their end market is more concentrated than the other vertical, and the concentration is not stopping; it may even accelerate, which is why you see the company shifting and saying they are a simulation company, hinting that they want to go into other markets.
$TOI.V
Nice to see a big deal.
Topicus to acquire Cipal Schaubroeck in Belgium
Cipal Schaubroeck NV (“CP”) is a Belgium-based vertical market software provider active in the local government vertical with annual gross revenues of approximately €110M in 2024.
I posted a write-up on $BRAG, which can be found my on bio, on the website we do not speak of! I think its a great opportunity here and many have asked me to provide my thesis on it, so I did a long form thesis.
@nachkari At the TD conference, the company said DOGE could benefit them as many government agencies need to modernize outdated systems, creating opportunities for companies like CGI. I felt the CEO was very quick to dismiss the impact DOGE could have on companies like CGI.
@CJ0pp3l Previously, they expressed their desire to shift from being a hardware vendor to one that focuses more on software. Achieving this transition might prove challenging for them since it would likely require changing their approach to selling to their existing customer base.
@CJ0pp3l My two cent on $CTS.TO is in the past they had a multiplie for M&A and now they don’t. They tried to sell the business but no one what to buy them as their haven’t I tergrated their past acquisitions. Now the focus is to growth organically.
