RAILROADERS ARE SO ESSENTIAL, IN ONE DAY WE COULD SHUT DOWN THE ECONOMY. YET, WE DON’T DESERVE SICK DAYS NOR DOES OUR SAFETY OR THE PUBLIC’S SAFETY MATTER. $$$
The government and the media continue to villify #railroaders and tout how much a #strike would cost the economy. What they failed to mention was what #rail carriers have ALREADY cost the economy, and the damage they’ve done for many years. And it will continue to cost EVERYONE.
As our government forces an agreement down railroaders throats, they watch the railroads cut workers, cut safety, cut maintenance and increase prices on customers. This is part of the inflation we are all experiencing. Look up Precision Sched Railroading. It is doing less w/ less
“Those of us who work in the rail industry knew it was only a matter of time before a disaster like this happened. Unfortunately, we were ignored, and the people of East Palestine (like, as of this week, the people of Raymond, Minnesota) are the ones paying for it.”

@LolLioness @mamasinpursuit@SecretaryPete I’ve put in over 20 years. Infrastructure is last, followed by maintenance and inspections, and then employee quality of life. We all know shareholder and owner pockets are first. I think as much money as class 1s have made since I began they could actually afford it 👍🏼
@NTSB_Newsroom Did you want to launch an investigation into this, happening across the board with all class 1 #railroads#PSR =Cost cutting, risking employees’ lives, gambling on the safety of our communities like #eastpalestine Cutting inspection times, cutting employees, taking away our #qol
@nscorp@WKBN Did you discuss this happening across the board with all class 1 #railroads#PSR =Cost cutting, risking employees’ lives, gambling on the safety of communities like #eastpalestine and now #Raymond Cutting inspection times, cutting employees, taking away any #qol for #railroaders
Turning off our replies won’t hide that you and ALL class 1 #railroads implemented #PSR = Cost and inspection cutting, risking employees’ lives, gambling on the safety of our communities like #eastpalestine and now #Raymond and hiring out your own contractors to inspect trains.
Residents and business impacted by the Raymond, Minnesota incident, please contact 866-243-4784 for assistance. Media inquiries can be directed to [email protected].
@GovTimWalz@SecretaryPete Let me brief you. This has happened across the board with all class one #railroads#PSR = Cost cutting, risking employees’ lives, gambling on the safety of our communities like #eastpalestine Cutting inspection times, cutting employees, taking away any #qol for #railroaders
@SecretaryPete@TwoPersonCrews This has happened across the board with all class one #railroads Cost cutting, risking employees’ lives, gambling on the safety of our communities like #eastpalestine Cutting inspection times, cutting employees, taking away any #qol for #railroaders Any thoughts, Secretary?
@rawsalerts This has happened across the board with all class one #railroads Cost cutting and risking employees’ lives, gambling on the safety of communities like #eastpalestine Cutting inspection times, cutting employees, taking away any #qol for #railroaders@potus Congress HELP, AGAIN. 👀
@JortsTheCat@MorePerfectUS How corporations “earn” their billions. By cost cutting and risking their employees’ lives and gambling on the safety of communities like #eastpalestine Cutting inspection times, cutting employees, taking away any #qol for us #railroaders And it happens in every industry.
@therecount I’d add the government and rail carriers for class one #railroads in the same category as having waged the most aggressive and illegal #unionbusting campaign in the modern history of our country led by @potus and Congress. Every one of them should be under subpoena.
@MorePerfectUS I’d also place the government and rail carriers for class one #railroads in the same category as having waged the most aggressive and illegal #unionbusting campaign in the modern history of our country led by @potus and Congress. Every one of them should be under subpoena.
@maximillian_alv It should read “Class action blames Precision Scheduled Railroading for decline in 115,000 #railroaders quality of life and ruining communities like #eastpalestine But nah, stock value is definitely more important. But, I guess it’s a start.
@maggsfolfalt It should read “Class action blames Precision Scheduled Railroading for decline in 115,000 #railroaders quality of life and ruining communities like #eastpalestine But nah, stock value is definitely more important.
@LegendMaker96@rawsalerts You can blame our #union heads for not going the distance not us. We have no control over that, apparently not even with majority vote. The majority of us voted to #strike rail carriers and congress laughed and told us to stfu. And shoved a contract down our throats.
🚨#BREAKING: Multiple people injured following cargo train derailment 📌#sandstone | #WestVirginia Multiple emergency crews are on scene to the site of a train derailment in sandstone, West Virginia after a train derailed causing three train workers to be injured The accident sent at least one locomotive and one fuel tank into the New River but All 109 train cars were empty officials say rockslide was the cause of the derailment.
@ninaturner@SOU_railman Unfortunately for #railroaders party affiliation has never mattered. Both sides lobby to cut corners in ALL aspects of rail: safety, infrastructure, quality of life for employees, and supply chain issues. It’s corporate rail and the Gov working together to ruin lives; for money.
