Being a vocal young person in Africa should not make prison your second home.
Before Comrade @Che_Guevara_ZW arrest in Zimbabwe, security operatives approached his auntie and asked her to tell him to stop organising the Sungano National Prayer. Now he has been arrested.

Young people should not have to choose between silence and prison simply because they organise and speak up.

🟦 Solidarity Message: We stand with young people in Zimbabwe in calling for clarity regarding the reported detention of youth leader Narshon Kohlo (@Che_Guevara_ZW ), who was reportedly taken to Budiriro 2 Police Station yesterday.

🗓️At the time of this statement, young people say they are still awaiting clear information about any charges.

🎯Concerns have also been raised about alleged threats relating to the National Prayer for Peace, Justice and Progress, following a reported phone call received by Kohlo. We urge the relevant authorities to provide transparent information and to uphold his rights and due process.

➡️As we await further updates, we stand in solidarity with Narshon Kohlo, whom we know as an active young citizen, constitutionalist, and youth advocate.
