@AsusHelpUS Hi. I think I've found the answer in the BIOS manual - it seems that this setting is listed under "ASUS MultiCore Enhancement".

The manual is titled "PRIME / ProArt / TUF GAMING Intel 600 Series", so I'll assume it works the same way on B660/H670/Z690.
@AsusHelpUS Hi, can you tell me whether the PRIME H670-PLUS D4 and PRIME B660-PLUS D4 motherboards allow disabling the recommended power limits of the CPU (such as the i5-12400)? Or is that feature only on the TUF and ROG boards?
@MSICares@msiUSA_Tech Hi, I'm in the market for a B660 or H670 motherboard. Can you tell me how I can find out which of your motherboards/BIOSes allow changing the power limits on Alder Lake CPUs?
@GamersNexus I'd like to see more charts like this, for example.
You can see that the 12600K averages 158 FPS with E-cores, and 166 FPS without. Something's not right there.
These tests could be repeated if/when OSes update their schedulers, to see if it helped.

@GamersNexus You mention this, and then say that it's a Win10 issue, but 12100F is still beating the 12600K on Win11...
Only comparing apples to apples (same chip with and without E-cores) could we really see what the effect of the botched scheduling is.
@MSICares@msiUSA_Tech Thanks. Can you tell me whether the PRO B660M, MAG B660M, and PRO Z690-P motherboards have 10 or 12 DrMOS? I don't see that information listed here.

@RedOphiuchus@dphrygian @xavierck3d And the ease of copying the MIDI data. If anyone can mint an identical song, then what's the point of owning the unique NFT, again? (Or if they can't, who is gatekeeping the minting & vetting each new song before it's added? How?)
@RedOphiuchus@dphrygian @xavierck3d You could maybe mint, like, a MIDI file of a song. That's an agreed-upon-standard, at least...
but you still get issues like different sound fonts making it sound different in some games, and the legal issues when it turns out to be a composition that somebody else owns...
@Vialixia@tha_rami That, but also expecting the big company that currently makes 15% off all sales to... decide to stop doing that.
And to make cheating easier. ("Valve banned my account? No worries, all my skins are on the blockchain, so they can't freeze my digital assets!)
@tha_rami Final Fantasy XIV has some races unable to wear hats, because the models won't fit or whatever...
...but sure, they'll implement the gasmask skin that you bought off Rainbow Six so that you can play as a SWAT bunny, no problem.
@PaulyAlcorn@tomshardware I'm only planning to do this on a 12600 (locked), so not sure how critical the VRM quality is in that case, since it should run more cool/efficient than a K chip.
I'm also open to popping a Noctua cooler on the CPU if the thermals turn out to be a limiting factor here.
Hey @PaulyAlcorn@tomshardware , you mention here that some B660/H670 boards allow lifting the CPU power limits. I was wondering how I could find out which boards from ASUS/MSI support that?
https://t.co/j4GkILSEbN
@PaulyAlcorn@tomshardware Thanks.
Unfortunately, manufacturers don't seem to list any data about their VRMs, so I guess the only way to find out is to wait for independent reviews to come out...
