@_NatHansen_@xphilosopher If you had to look it up, you know that a MUD game was a single player text based choices made in dungeons. Multi-user did not mean the same as MMO. It meant every person who reads your article is an individual user. Which is why Frege was an appropriate answer to Gettier.

@xphilosopher@_NatHansen_ It couldn't accept that as an answer. I switched to the Gettier problem. I asked how one justifies belief, it said a clock says 3:00 and it gapoens to be 3:00. I said Frege. It responded that gives you sense and reference ehich is different. i closed it then. Frege = approp ans
@xphilosopher@_NatHansen_ My favorite thing to do with AI is break it. This is a terrible technology for many reasons. But I tried it out. My response to the trolley problem is that both choices are exactly the same so I did nothing. It asked me for clarification: do you mean doing nothing or pulling. Yes
@xphilosopher@_NatHansen_ For clarification of my trolley problem answer: the point of these is to get PEOPLE talking. I am sitting there talking to a MUD game. it already killed the point. so there wasn't a lever to pull.
@_NatHansen_@xphilosopher That still sidesteps the point of getting people to collectively consider ethical conundrums as a counter to Kant's imperative. I prefer the Wittgensteinian pointy stick example as an example of how morals get /created/. Hence, sidestepping the purpose by creating a MUD game.

@Pinball_Lez@aufgehenderRest the phaneron, the place where all lost socks congregate because you didn't know what socks were yet. the place ai wishes it had access to.
@cyberpyre Language games are emergent initially, they become ritualized fairly quickly - cour proceedings, marriages, etc. Concretization to offload cog demand. Which, I think, non-tri-desecendent LLMs could exploit to great effect. And I am attempting a sly obfuscation there on the name.
Destroying the @InternetArchive's @WayBackMachine would be the equivalent of the burning of the Library of Alexandria - one of the worst losses of knowledge in history.
Media giants are now threatening to do this.
We can't let this happen.
Pass it on.
@Artiexus@KarlFristonNews My scarecrow comment was also pointing at the "mind cannot face". There is a reason for using that phrase that the authors here are obnoxiously avoiding: not everyone suffering from C/PTSD is a scientist. And you can have C/PTSD and not cognitively be able to trace its origin.
