The @UC_CAWS team for the Lachlan @FMerproject are back from the #GreatCumbung. Reed beds are looking good where
e-water reached them in spring. A stunning Peron's tree #frog was also found exploring around the field station house 😍 @FionaDyer@Will_Higgisson

Nothing like a cool dip on a hot day! We’ve been releasing a small, steady flow of water along the Wimmera River to help fish survive during the hot dry conditions. Without water for the environment, sites like Horseshoe Bend near Dimboola would be a lot drier #WimmeraCMA#VEWH

Behold the beauty of frost flowers! These delicate ice structures are unique to the surface of newly forming sea ice, forming when moisture in the atmosphere becomes supersaturated due to low temps. Here, Scripps' Jeff Bowman collects frost flowers in the Arctic. 📷Matthias Wietz
Blue wren beating the heat with the trickle irrigation.
