hard agree because the meat of farmed animals causes so much secondary harm beyond the dead animal itself. one of the strongest arguments for veganism imo
@centristviewer@KeyTryer@osmarks1 you do realize it would just give you the steps that have been proposed for years by experts, right? like we already know what to do.
I cling to the moments where I walk through a swarm of gnats like I cling to the days of knee shaking relative cold in Brisbane. When was the last time an insect hit your windshield. How many days since you last saw a butterfly. Will you recognize the cries of birds going hungry?
Its not mystery why all the birds and wildlife are disappearing
A bleak barren landscape combined with a frenzy of pesticide spraying is a dead zone for nature
@drumm_colin i think what is important is the *ability* to break down what you said in a way a child could understand when asked. too much simplicity leads to braindead discourse going in circles and achieves nothing imo
Does anyone else ever feel like we’ve built a world that works against the way humans were meant to live? Endless traffic, screens, noise, debt, and concrete instead of rivers, trees , fresh food, silence, close communities, and time to simply exist. It feels deeply wrong.
im afraid you are describing the exact same dynamic you are criticising. you decide in advance whose experience counts or not. men relating to feeling judged for preference is evidence FOR your point. frustration with men is valid but please don't mirror their double standards.
@sallylovesfoods i think veganism is very easy for the average person to rationally arrive at. similarly, feminism is also very easy for any rational person to understand. radfems however are most of the time motivated by a (somewhat understandable but not productive/rational) hatred for men
@JihadalHaqq you must have worse italian options in north america than we do in europe, or your dominos must be significantly better than it is here. or you have very peculiar taste.
