@thejustinwelsh I remember first learning this lesson from How to Read a Book by Mortimer J. Adler.

A lot of people think it's 100% up to the teacher to feed you the learnings, but in reality the reader/learner has to do a fair bit of work to make sure they actually extract the right learnings
