@DG_7D i don't particularly care if it's the right or bottom button but it would be nice if it was always the same, yeah
although these days i only play on PC where it's always the bottom face button and you can even remap it however you want so it doesn't particuarly affect me

the real issue is not the icon on the button but rather the placement
switching from nintendo consoles (right face button to accept) to the others (bottom face button to accept) is always annoying

also, ◯ doesn't really have a meaning so when looking at the 4 icons on the buttons we just seem them as various symbols without a specific function

rgg games had a lot of issue in their real time combat so i'm glad they're doing something with a totally different formula

@getinglouderig @microchipgnu a few of them are annoying because the ring doesn't adhere to the bottle properly which means the cap inevitably gets in the way when you tilt the bottle to pour the liquid
but in general they're great, yeah

considering we literally know they were previously asked by their publisher to release the game on PC and they refused, it's hard to see this as anything but a shift in how they handle their games

unless you have a different source for that info i don't think that's the case
