@jfjoubert I'm curious about the source of the English translation? Wanting to share this myself, I was starting with Google Translate and LLM translations initially, and figured I could add my own touch on top of that to produce something decent - but perhaps I should use your version.
First: MUSK'S KEY SKILL IS CONTROLLING INFORMATION. It's not just crafting appealing narratives about himself and his companies, but also silencing anything that contradicts them. Tesla's entire history is lined with NDAs, backed by sheer terror of what Musk will do when cornered
@JJMYnameX@narukaya@darshan No offence intended. 🤞🏻🤞🏻 Just an implicit invitation for anyone to discuss with me our stylistic choices in the AI era. My thoughts are now going in the direction of explicitly avoiding ChatGPT's style, even if the resulting writing might be worse?
@JJMYnameX@narukaya@darshan FYI: the style of writing in your tweet resembles my experience of ChatGPT's style. 😊 I didn't look closely though.
1) ChatGPT may be emulating your kind of style for its effectiveness.
2) I could imagine myself emulating ChatGPT's style, were I to write replies like these.
@aeliasen@DrPhiltill Purely out of curiosity, is it internationalised? Or does it stick to en-US? (For "billion", "trillion"...) I'd expect it to simply stick to en-US.
@karischoonbee @OK_Gallagher Replying to O.K:
In terms of https://t.co/9PGV7nfzPw I think their sense of gender identity is "trans" but their gender expression remains aligned with what they've been "assigned".
Which likely means they'll be perceived differently than how they feel.
Does this answer the Q?
@skroon I'm answering it now, even as I delete the original tweet. Because reasons. (It was just a photo of the post office queue "Zettel", with the irritatingly cryptic words "It is done." 🤦)
@skroon I never answered this. It was a dumb tweet, because reasons, but it was my sending-in of my application for citizenship. Sent on 21 February 2020, with citizenship granted September 28th, 2021, if memory serves. (And then travel perks, i.e. passport, since October last year.)
@ben_j_todd I wanna be an Ombudsman/Ombudsperson! :-)
But that's mostly an idea that's been floating in my head since February. Over the next few months I'll be exploring possibilities, searching for possible next stepping stones.
@shainblum Is a timelapse okay? I stabilized the sky using a star tracker to help visualize the Earth’s rotation. I’m fairly proud of how it turned out. :)
@dominikruettima@TanjaStadler_CH @SwissScience_TF In Switzerland, tests are administered based on symptoms, they're not a random sampling of the population. Thus tests are correlated with cases, such that the "confirmed cases / tests" graph seems special-purpose to me, not "generally useful".
@RayFinkleLives@DJRaz_Music@DlozKillr Imagining verbally stating he will violently resist arrest, that's not the same as violently resisting arrest - in my naivety I do expect to see some physical evidence of an attempt at cuffing him before I expect to see this violent a physical escalation.
@RayFinkleLives@DJRaz_Music@DlozKillr It sounds like you're arguing "there are grounds for vengeance". Law enforcement in developed countries shouldn't work on vengeance though, cops are there to arrest, not to carry out a sentence before judge/jury even got involved...
Over the last 7 days, 70 ‘covid codes’ have been entered voluntarily in the #SwissCovid app by app users who tested positive. The FSO publishes daily statistics on the number of active apps. The download of the app was launched by the @BAG_OFSP_UFSP.
