It's not unrealistic. No-one ever bats a damn eye about the fact homeowners can spend their entire lives not just on the same neighbourhood but in their same home. Tenants deserve at least the same stability

When my son was in 1st grade, he started telling us about the big test that was coming up. He said it was really important that he do really well on this test b/c "some other kids can't do as well".

Turns out the teachers were pressuring the smart kids about standardized tests b/c it takes a lot of effort to raise the scores of the lower half of the class and that effort is better spent getting the top 20% of kids to improve the overall class score

They weren't even shy about telling the smart kids that their goal on this test was not to do well for their own benefit but to benefit the class as a whole. They were doing this to first graders.

That was the last year he was in public school.
