I asked chatGPT to solve Bansal & Yaron (2004) with stochastic vol. The good stuff: fast with readable code. Problems: 1. It used CRRA, not EZ, 2. It did not reduce the problem's dimensionality, 3. The code needed to be debugged before it ran. Not bad! #ChatGPT#EconTwitter
