@ScottBilleck I know they don’t want to name names, but perhaps they could let us know how many of these are not Hutterite/Maple Leaf related. Context seems relevant.
@ScottBilleck For what it’s worth, the colonies and maple leaf work very closely together - the colonies raise most of the pigs for maple leaf. And Monday was hardly a debacle. They made a mistake on one case number reported. It’s worth mentioning, but not this level of critique or criticism
@thrubeniuk And for portage and main being open too. Let people chose to vote either where they live or where they work and the city will be transformed.
@AirborneYYC@ScottPaler@CFIB Well, I don’t know this history, but they have helped some small businesses negotiate rates with credit card companies which matters a lot. I do appreciate that you have at least talked to me about this:). Just know that at least one member is trying hard to be good and honest.
@AirborneYYC@Uncle_naked@ScottPaler@CFIB I really wasn’t trying to say that paid sick leave was bad. Just that this is really complicated. Not every business owner is trying to screw people over (you didn’t say this), but it seemed like this was in the tone of some responses. I really do care deeply for my staff.

These recommendations changed 10 days later. If an employee is entitled to 10 days, but is told to stay away, they have used...
@AirborneYYC@Uncle_naked@ScottPaler@CFIB I do trust them. They all receive paid sick time. But this announcement needs more consideration. That’s all I’m saying. I really care about the people that work for me. I’m curious why you seem so mad at me for this. To call my staff lazy is harsh.
@ScottBilleck Hey, just want to say thanks for the daily updates. I appreciate the real-time updates and that you take the time to be a part of reporting this everyday. I check your tweets pretty religiously at 1pm:)
