Why do emails from @firstdirect still say: ‘Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, it's becoming increasingly difficult for our call centres…’? You really can’t still be blaming Covid.
@LeShuttle@chris_underwood Instead of DM’ing everyone, it would be really helpful if you replied (where no personal data is involved obviously) in public as other people may find the answer helpful. May cut down on the volume of tweets which would help you guys out too?
@GingeScott@greateranglia Same thing with lack of trains in rush hour between Liverpool St and Kings Lynn - of course the passenger numbers aren’t there if you don’t put any trains on!
@philrichardsuk@Coastway_Will MOT, insurance & tax need to be paid anyway as I already have the car so they’re not part of the balance sheet when comparing the two. The %age of depreciation etc attached to my commute vs ‘other’ driving is not as high as you suggest. No surprises at all. £25 vs £55, no contest
@Coastway_Will Tax & insurance are required anyway, so the only variable is fuel which I obviously calculated into my statement that the train is more expensive. For my commute to work, the train is 2x the cost as driving (based on fuel, parking, & tube ticket for the final 20 mins of journey)
Did anyone actually sit on a 720 before buying them? I’m average sized, the guy sat next to me is average sized, so why is there not enough room for us both to sit anywhere near comfortably? @greateranglia
