I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Royal Laureate Professor Tan Sri Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas. He was, by any measure, one of the greatest minds of our age, a philosopher who asked not just what we know, but what knowledge is for. Through his voluminous and seminal works including “Islam and Secularism” and his magnum opus “Prolegomena to the Metaphysics of Islam,” he challenged the secularisation of knowledge and set out the intellectual foundations of an Islamic worldview. Malaysia heard him. The Muslim world heard him.
He leaves us on the 18th of Ramadan, at the age of 95. That is a life well lived and a departure well earned.
On behalf of the Government and people of Malaysia, I extend my deepest condolences to his family and to all who sat at his feet. May Allah grant him His mercy and the highest station among the righteous. Al-Fatihah.

Despite presenting itself as a strong defender of Palestinian rights, Indonesia granted a geothermal concession on Halmahera to PT Ormat Geothermal Indonesia, a company linked to Israel’s economic system.
The move risks undermining Indonesia’s political stance on Palestine while placing a fragile forested environment under increased industrial pressure.
On January 8, 2026, the Energy Ministry awarded the Telaga Ranu geothermal project as part of its Net Zero Emissions 2060 plan.
While expanding renewable energy is important, critics argue it should not come at the cost of political consistency or environmental protection.
Perang Saudara Parti Bersatu makin besar
Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin mengisytiharkan perang ke atas Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin selepas Datuk Seri Hamzah dipecat semalam
Is the answer:
“Which Media are you from? Utusan Malaysia? I will remember. I will call your chief editor,” the clarification for the question asked by the journalist?
Make it make sense

Trump seorang yg ego.
Only in Malaysia where those who shout the loudest about how broken the nation is still cling to the comfort and privileges the same country provides
They curse its politics, mock its leaders and belittle its people yet they never have the courage to leave
Behind Trump’s invitation for PMX to ride in The Beast:
“….I think, first of all, it was definitely spontaneous. The president doesn’t do things like that based on what people like me tell him to do, he wanted to do it himself….
….There was a noticeable gasp from the security teams on both sides, though you couldn’t really hear it over the music….
….Prime Minister Anwar even teased Secretary of US State, Rubio about how, typically, both systems prefer leaders not to meet privately, because then no one really knows what was discussed….
….What’s clear to me, and something I mentioned to Malaysia’s two deputy prime ministers last night, is that this is exactly what diplomats work for. The truth is, if things go wrong, it’s the ambassador’s fault but when it’s a success, it’s because the leaders are great….
….What we witnessed was a genuine connection between the leaders. They had very candid discussions, even on difficult topics like Gaza, where the prime minister (Anwar) clearly articulated Malaysia’s stance. The president (Trump), in turn, reaffirmed his strong commitment to maintaining the agreement in Gaza, promoting peace, and emphasizing how important that is to him….”
Sebenarnya kalau korang nak tahu
Semua 3 Kuasa Besar Dunia ada Dosa masing masing
US- Sokong Israel.
China- Nak ambik kawasan ZEE Sarawak milik Malaysia jadi milik dia. Pemusnahan Etnik Uyghur Islam di Xinjiang.
Rusia- Membunuh dan Menzalimi ramai Kaum Tatar Islam di Crimea dan Kaum Chechnya Islam di Rusia. Menyokong Presiden Bashar Assad Membunuh ramai rakyat Sunni Syria. Membunuh 43 rakyat Malaysia dalam Kes MH17.
Sebab tu dalam menilai Geopolitik ni kan. Bersederhana dalam menyokong.
Hanya kerana US buat hal bangang dekat Gaza. Tak semestinya kita kena over gila Sokong China atau Rusia. Diorang ada dosa diorang. US ada bangang dia.
Kalau US buat hal. Kita ada China. Kalau China buat hal kita ada US. Kalau China dan US buat hal kita ada Rusia.
Senang cerita Malaysia Negara Kecik kena pandai main 3 Kolam
Tapi buat masa skrg. Kita lakukan apa yang termampu
Everyone needs to remember that as Prime Minister, @anwaribrahim's first and foremost duty is to Malaysia, our mother soil (ibu pertiwi). In that context, he did well.
That is all.
Trump visits Malaysia - Has Malaysia benefited? 🇲🇾🇺🇸

PN/PAS will criticise PMX for everything 🤦🏻♂️. But PMX has put Malaysia’s national interests above petty politics.
Strong bilateral ties has brought benefits for Malaysia.
Can't please everyone now can we?
Tetiba nak guilt trip the while nation pulak when all we do is diplomacy.
PM even says Malaysia is ready to send it's UN contingent for peacekeeping
Malaysian did much more than gulf States and other Muslim nation. I guess that doesn't count?
A Turkish activist described shocking abuse against climate campaigner Greta Thunberg during Israel’s raid on the Global Sumud Flotilla. “They dragged little Greta by her hair before our eyes, beat her, and forced her to kiss the Israeli flag. They did everything imaginable to her, as a warning to others,” Ersin Celik, a flotilla participant, told Anadolu Agency.
A plane carrying 137 activists from the flotilla, including 36 Turkish citizens, landed in Istanbul today. The group was welcomed by families, journalists, and supporters after their ordeal at sea. The activists had joined the mission to break the blockade on Gaza and deliver aid, before Israeli forces intercepted their ships.
Yesterday the USA was the *only* member of the UN security council to vote *against* a permanent ceasefire in Gaza.

This is insane. We used to be the good guys. But now donald and netanyahu want to build beach front properties on top of 2 million graves. Absolute Evil.
‘We give you Malaysians jobs’. No, you buy our labour because your economy needs us. Crying over petrol you’re not entitled to just proves the real greed. Maybe focus less on flexing and more on not being pressed over subsidised fuel. Classic Singaporean behaviour.
