You seriously underestimate how much you can do with time. 1 year is a fucking lifetime. 6 months is enough to go from 0 to 100. Even 1 week of full commitment 14 hours a day is enough to push the needle so far forward you won't even recognize yourself. Just do more. Just do what your heart desires. Just be better.
I resigned from Anthropic today. I spent the last three years doing pretraining research at both OpenAI and Anthropic. Neither company is acting responsibly. They are racing straight to self-improving superintelligence and gambling with our lives. More thoughts below.
Modi-ji appoints Nandan Nilekani, who contested the 2014 elections as a Congress Party candidate, because the government respects his experience leading Infosys and Aadhaar and so many other projects.
Priyanka-ji attacks IIT Madras Director Prof Kamakoti, under whose leadership IIT Madras has emerged as the top tech institution in India and has spawned a vibrant startup ecosystem.
One of them is a classy leader.
Every Indian should be ashamed of ignoring nation-builders while chasing foreign funded cockroaches 🪳.
Meet Keerthi Sri 🇮🇳🚀

> Engineer at Skyroot Aerospace
> Building rockets for India's future
> Less than 600 followers on Instagram 😔
Her elder sister, with 400K+ followers, posted about her after the historic rocket launch.
It got around 3,000 likes.
Yeah a 400k+ acc got just 3000 likes for a historic achievement.Fahhh....😠
Just think about that.
A rocket engineer gets ignored.
A drama company CJP 🪳 gets millions of views, followers and likes.
We don't deserve the future these young Indians are building for us if we refuse to even look at them.
We have completely messed up our priorities.
A Hyderabad startup just built India's own mini jet engine for target drones
Paninian India has unveiled the Yantur TJ1.6, a compact indigenous turbojet, to power the Svayatt-TD1 decoy drone.
The Svayatt-TD1 mimics the radar and heat signature of enemy aircraft and missiles, so Indian air defence crews can train against realistic threats.
In an actual war, the same drone could confuse enemy radars and burn through their missile stocks.
This is a private company, not DRDO, building its own engine family from scratch. That is the kind of shift India's defence sector needed. 🚩

India is ONE grandmaster away from 100.
And here's the incredible part every GM India has ever produced, from Vishy Anand (#1, 1988) to #99, is still alive.
That means one photograph is possible: all 100 Indian GMs in a single frame. First time in chess history any country could do this.
@NikonIndia@Canon_India@Sony_India — this is your Solvay Conference moment. One image that gets reprinted for the next 100 years.
Someone should def plan this, it can become a event to celebrate the growth of indian chess.
