First #Rizwana, now #Fatima! The death of a 9 year old girl child domestic worker in #Ranipur is painful and shocking. A high powered committee has been constituted by #DIGSukkur to examine the heart rending cctv footage of the girl suffering in acute pain and subsequently passing and the allegations of abuse and torture. The alleged accused in the footage has also been taken in custody.
Police is also investigating the doctor who had examined her who maintains she was suffering from hepatitis and was brought to him by the employer family for treatment.
Facts have yet to surface but use of children for domestic work is illegal and unacceptable. How did the child die in custody of her employer? Was she ill and died of negligence or was she tortured? In both circumstances, use of children in domestic work makes them vulnerable to sexual or physical abuse which is at the heart of the problem

@HBhurgri Patriarchy do exist but it is not the issue of patriarchy, it is child labor. Even male child servants are also treated badly. N in these two recent cases the culprits are also women, so how come it is patriarchy?
Law should punish these monsters who tortured these children.
