By implementing the shekatkar committee by reducing the strength of highly qualified experienced civilian officers in MES is going to hamper the functioning of MES. Honourable RM is requested to look into the matter with immediate effect.

@DefenceMinIndia 2. This will defeat the very purpose of Shekhatkar Committee (ie. redeployment of combatants in combat duties) and ultimately the purpose of cost optimisation will also get defeated as Civilian Counterparts are paid lesser. #mesindanger

Army( Corps of engineers) have misguided MoD and increased their non combat role in MES. Purpose of rebalancing defence expdr totally defeated. Cut in civilian officer posts recommended inlieu if Military post. It’s blunder will increase burden on Combat Emgineers.

#mesindanger We have not seen the struggle for independence of India. But now we can realize the same in independent india. The way British forced their will with power and cunningness by using all साम दाम दण्ड भेद , the same is being faced by MES Officers in their own department
