I've seen some data suggesting: Isocaloric TRE still improves biomarkers of metabolic health, but not significantly improve bodyweight (studies on humans are debatable due to how hard it is to control though)

.@hubermanlab's podcast is a masterclass in modern science communication. He calls it "direct-to-consumer" science. I think the market for this is bigger than people realize.
We need more full-stack scientists thinking beyond papers as the only relevant scientific output.
@GregoryMcKeown Love this part of Essentialism @GregoryMcKeown, but I think there's one part it misses:
- part of the essentialist mindset is to "accept the pain" of saying no to meaningful projects.
In my experience trying to apply it in practice, accepting this pain is in itself essential ๐งก
Contrary to popular thought, dopamine is not released in response to surprise. It IS released, however, when our prior beliefs are confirmed.
This has real implications for conflict resolution of opposing stances.
