@nabbi_illiasu@developermide@Dominus_Kelvin I get your point and I’m not saying Devops don’t work. My point is after the cloud is automated and stable , what then do you do “daily” ? I am primarily a backend engineer and have only done Devops for Statups. So, I am just curious .
@developermide@Dominus_Kelvin Except it is merged with Backend coding . In the big Ent I worked for, repo creation is automated and the whole CI/CD comes with it once it is ready. If you need minor changes you can do that with Terraform by yourself and alerts are automated. So, I’m wondering what they do.
@developermide@Dominus_Kelvin Most of these are reusable templates and you don’t manually set it up per service. Nothing here looks like a daily task to me especially if teams can be alerted via automation. I am not saying Devops don’t work, but I don’t think it’s a daily job .
@developermide@Dominus_Kelvin What are these things you need to do on a daily basis? I understand you architect and manage the whole infra , but that does not look like a daily task .
@developermide@Dominus_Kelvin The only time I worked in Big Ent, we used Terraform to deploy for our team’s service . So, I always wondered what all those devops engineers do daily .
