The rise in anti-semitism in New York City is very real
A homeless man who's always loitering in this "public realm" called me a jew when I confronted him about making fun of my job.
I'm not Jewish but I guess I look like one according to this nut. I was raised Catholic and I'm an Atheist.
While I was fortunate I wasn't physically attacked, you never know if you will be. Especially if you're Jewish.
Streetsblog conducted an in-depth interview with two leaders of a competitive cycling club in Central Park (@crca) about how the city can make the park safer for every visitor: https://t.co/c0Q5uAbZad
@gtjco@nicolegelinas Well you heard Steve
He feels that no one should talk to me. But it's mainly because their morals are warped when it comes to cycling and they can't justify them
Perpetually fascinated by people from other cities who feel the need to comment on what they think life is like here in NYC. And this is another one for the @fuelgrannie list.
People without families, who are a minority in every borough, dictating how couples, people with kids and/or older parents in the home should get around. People who own nothing dictating what property owning neighborhoods should look like.
"If you don't like density, move out of NYC!"
The longest distance across the 5 boroughs is 35 miles. Imagine thinking that 35 miles of dense housing is in any way sustainable when we currently have frequent blackouts, flooding, increasing emergency response times, etc. 🤡
