🚨 HSBC Live+ rejected in hours — but was employment actually verified?

Someone I know applied yesterday. By the same night, rejected — citing "employment could not be verified successfully."

The confusing part: how does employment verification happen accurately in barely 3 hours?

Even more surprising — the applicant is a government employee in a stable, well-established role. Not exactly a hard profile to verify.

If HSBC is rejecting on verification grounds, there should at least be transparency on what was actually checked and why it failed.

This doesn't look like verification. It looks like a process that owes an explanation.

@Credolite HSBC has very poor record of issuing CC even if you full fill all requirements. They are worst. I didn't get any hsbc card even if i have all the eligibilities.
