I don't remember much about the tests I did at school; I just did what I had to & promptly forgot it. But I will NEVER EVER FORGET the teacher who read us stories – pure reading for pleasure, with no assessment whatsoever. That's the stuff that changes lives! #literacy
@whittarduk I have sent two emails over the past 2 weeks regarding a damaged package I received. I haven’t had a reply to either of them. Could some contact me to resolve this issue before I make a formal complaint to head office.
@Hermesparcels I have just arrived home to a fragile package (clearly identified all over the box) thrown over my back gate and it has resulted in my item being damaged. Disgusting.
My year 12s loved a bit of revision Jenga this afternoon. Firstly they came up with the questions to draw out their K&U, then they got to play. Added a bit of competition to keep them on their toes. #uked#revision#geography#teamgeog
@flybe Flight BE849 - the staff on this gate were horrendously rude, not only to each other but to passengers as well. Completely unacceptable and unjustified. I've never been spoken to/treated so poorly by an airline before.
I love teaching writing but finding that moment where you let children fly is tricky.
