This reminds me that #Pittsburgh has these empty lots, with transit service, literally just outside of Downtown that is SCREAMING for mixed-use development, including a grocery store. History aside, there's plenty of room for homes here!

@Freedom4Quebec It’s not just about them. It’s about the our collective daily experience of the city. Big open expanses of land make the city less interesting and walkable. They effectively de-densify what should be the densest part of the city and make our transit system less successful.
