inline vs slack is a stupid question to ask. slack is a thing of past you just haven't realized it. also discord. the whole style of communication does not scale, does not work for agents, and it is severely limiting the adoption of ai. inline will have to win and when you realize that you should do anything you can to help and support because this space is a graveyard and inline is the best bet to unlock the next gen of work chat. i would have said this if someone else was in this position, i am not saying it as a marketing speech, i do 100% believe this.
If you have a team that wants to someday switch from slack/discord to inline, i'm trying something new:
With a fixed monthly sub we'll prioritise the features your team needs before switching so:
1) It's ready for you faster
2) You make sure everything you need are there.
3) You get to try stuff early and shape inline
Also, the payments will count as credit for your future inline workspace.
DM me if you're interested.
@inline_chat reply threads that are real powerful threads
(title them, pin them, @ ppl, archive them, link/reference them, or ignore them when it's not relevant to you because you'd never see them in your chat list or sidebar)
I think this will solve the issue when you need some one in just one subthread of a larger chat/workspace that they are not a part of.
