🇺🇸BREAKING: U.S. stock markets will begin trading 23 hours a day, 5 days a week from December 6
The planned trading week will run from Sunday evening through Friday evening, with a one-hour daily maintenance break.
Nasdaq and NYSE Arca are among the venues preparing for expanded hours, while the regular 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. session remains unchanged.
The SEC is upgrading market infrastructure for 23/5 trading, with full 24/7 trading potentially coming later.
Brokers will decide which securities and overnight services customers can access, while thinner liquidity could mean wider spreads and greater volatility.
Huge news out of Dallas this morning!
@EnergyTransfer, a global energy leader ranked #53 in the Fortune 500, and its full partnership of public entities — Sunoco, Sunoco Corp, and USA Compression — are moving their primary listings from the New York Stock Exchange to TXSE.
With a combined market capitalization of nearly $100 billion, these transfers mark a watershed moment for capital markets not just in Texas, but nationally.
The movement of primary listings out of New York and into Texas is just beginning, and TXSE is proud to have the complete Energy Transfer partnership among our first primary corporate listings.

A good reminder on how finance still works today… the Central Bank of Netherlands just spent months moving $11B in gold from New York to London.
~70% of it never actually left the ground. It was sold in NYC and repurchased in London. This reminded me of a story from 2013 – Germany took four years (!!) to move 674 tons of gold, worth $36 billion from vaults in Paris and New York.
In the 10+ years between those two stories, crypto went from a $1.5B experiment to a $2.7T asset class + financial infrastructure with real liquidity behind it. What didn't change: central banks (and a lot of the world frankly) still moving value the way they did in the 1940s.
Meanwhile self-driving cars are navigating city traffic, AI has transformed how we work, Starlink gives you internet access from just about anywhere in the world. But the best way to move value isn’t to actually move it? It’s confounding…
This an ideal use case for crypto - storing and then moving value instantly, securely, around the world, at little to no cost. How are people still fighting this?!

I can't say more yet. But I like where this is going.

1/ In this thread, I'd like to introduce the XRP community on CT to Kendra Hill, another alleged XRP insider. Note that it's NOT her real name, and I will be providing NO doxxing info on her in this thread (or ever). @HamEggsnSam has referred to her as "1 million XRP girl"

HUGE news! @Ripple just received conditional approval from the @USOCC to charter Ripple National Trust Bank. This is a massive step forward - first for $RLUSD, setting the highest standard for stablecoin compliance with both federal (OCC) & state (NYDFS) oversight.
To the banking lobbyists – your anti-competitive tactics are transparent. You’ve complained that crypto isn’t playing by the same rules, but here’s the crypto industry – directly under the OCC's supervision and standards – prioritizing compliance, trust and innovation to the benefit of consumers. What are you so afraid of?
New entrants into the federal banking sector are good for consumers, the banking industry and the economy. Read about the OCC’s conditional approval of five national trust bank charter applications. https://t.co/xF3GzoJXGf
More than $1.55 billion in XRP moved through Ripple-linked wallets in identical 100 million chunks today, a pattern that immediately raised questions about a large treasury reset inside the company.
