Something most people don't know:
India holds the largest written record of any civilisation.
1 crore manuscripts. 3 lakh inscriptions in stone.
We gave the world zero. Wrote down surgery and calculus centuries before the West did.
Today, less than 1% can be read or searched. The rest is quietly turning to dust.
In the age of AI, knowledge a machine can't read is knowledge the world will never use.
MIDF is working to change that.

A cartoon being circulated on X says Indians should thank the British because James Prinsep deciphered the Brahmi script & helped recover our history. :))
Do you know before he became a so-called expert on our ancient scripts, Prinsep’s primary day job was serving as the Assay Master (chief metallurgist & currency controller) at the Banaras & Calcutta Mints. He was not an academic; he was an economic agent sent to fundamentally alter India's wealth distribution system.
Until the 1830s, India had a beautifully diverse, highly resilient decentralized currency system. Local kingdoms, merchant guilds & regional mints issued their own silver and gold coins. Local money-changers (Shroffs) evaluated coins based on pure metal weight. James Prinsep was the literal architect who destroyed this system.
Using his position as Assay Master, Prinsep spent yrs systematically studying the purity of native Indian coins. He did not do this out of cultural curiosity, he did it to calculate how the East India Company could completely monopolize India's money supply.
His efforts directly culminated in the Coinage Act of 1835: The Elimination of Indian Heritage: Prinsep spearheaded the policy that completely banned all local Indian regional coins & traditional designs. He personally oversaw the design of the new, uniform colonial Silver Rupee. He forced the removal of traditional Indian symbols, replacing them with the cold, imperial face of British King William IV.
What makes this a financial "thug" operation is how the transition was enforced on ordinary Indians. By passing laws that declared traditional regional currencies invalid for tax payments, the British forced Indian merchants, farmers & citizens to bring their centuries-old ancestral coins to Prinsep's mints. Under Prinsep's direct technical supervision, the British mints engaged in massive institutional exploitation:
- They took the pure, high-quality silver coins of Indian states.
- They melted them down in giant cauldrons.
- They charged the native Indians a heavy seigniorage (a minting fee/tax) just to exchange their own ancestral silver for the new British currency.
This artificial bottleneck triggered a massive shortage of circulating cash in rural India, causing local economies to crash while systematically vacuuming pure silver out of Indian hands & placing it directly under East India Company control. It was 1 of the largest state-sanctioned currency manipulation schemes in world history.
But what is often sold to us is the idea that Prinsep was a polymath who single-handedly deciphered our ancient scripts. Ask the same people who Rathnapala was & you are likely to be met with complete silence. :(
There you go again @TVMohandasPai. We went through this before and when I challenged you publicly to compare track records while I was in industry, you ran away. You avoid addressing the issue that you lack any tech background and expertise, being a mere bean counter/admin who exploited India’s tech youth with wage arbitrage to enrich yourself. The “big industry” you built was about exploiting our hard working youth as coolies. I advocated that Indian tech talent be channeled into Indian IP, and not rented out. You are obliged to suck up to the Murthy family without whom you were a nobody. History has proven that India should have followed China example of domestic IP and not the quick buck selfish approach. Compare Indian industrialists in tech with China’s. Why is India dependent on foreign licensing like a beggar? India has immense talent but its industrialists have been short sighted, selfish and arrogant. Now Indian youth face massive challenges unlike China’s as a result. The total market value of India’s tech industry is a mere 1% of the global tech market cap. Shameful for a nation of talented youth.
All anti-Hindu acts brought in by Congress are still in force. The future of Hindustan is linked to the future of Hindus, and it is bleak if @narendramodi does not pay heed to Swami Vivekananda's warning: Every Hindu who converts is not only one Hindu less, it is one enemy more.
A few of you have mentioned that my posts can be quite long. I accept the charge! True history & scientific methods require depth; you cannot bust centuries of myths in a 10 word soundbite. However, I respect your time. From now on, I will provide the Crux right at the start. If it grips you, stay for the full breakdown. If not, feel free to skip & scroll further!
Think refined white sugar was a Western invention/imported from China (just because we call it Cheeni)? It is a case of identity theft.
- In 350 CE, Gupta-era Indian chemists invented the exact pH-balancing technology needed to turn raw cane juice into white crystals (Śarkarā).
- In 647 CE, Chinese Emperor Taizong sent a state mission to Bihar specifically to learn this chemical process.
- We call it Cheeni today only because China later mass-produced a specific ultra-white variety & traded it back to us. Here is the complete breakdown:
The English word Sugar, the Spanish Azúcar, the Arabic Sukkar & the Latin Saccharum all track back to a single linguistic ancestor: the Sanskrit word Śarkarā (which originally meant gravel/grit, referring to the look of sugar crystals). If the West/the Middle East/China invented refined sugar, why are they all using a Sanskrit word to describe it?
Before the 4th century CE, the world only knew how to boil sugarcane juice down into a sticky, dark, unrefined mass (what we call Gur/Jaggery). Keeping it liquid/semi-solid meant it spoiled quickly & could not be transported across vast distances.
During the Gupta Dynasty (c. 350 CE), Indian scholars turned food into chemistry. They discovered that by adding specific alkaline clarifying agents like lime/plant ash to the boiling cane juice, they could alter its pH level. This caused the impurities to separate & float to the top to be skimmed off. Once cooled, the pure sucrose did something miraculous: it precipitated & crystallized into hard, white granules.
So why do we call it Cheeni today?
Let us look at the imperial records of the Chinese Tang Dynasty. In 647 CE, Emperor Taizong sent an official state mission to Magadha (modern day Bihar). Their goal was not political, it was industrial espionage. They came to study the scientific methods of sugar refining.
The Chinese took this tech back, optimized it over the centuries for mass factory production & eventually exported a specific variety of ultra-white sugar back to India. Because it came via Chinese traders, locals began calling it Cheeni.
China did not invent sugar refining; they went to university in Bihar to learn it. The next time you stir a spoonful of sugar into your milk, remember: you are not using a Western/Chinese invention. You are witnessing a 1000s yr old triumph of Indian chemistry.
Received @ShaanHistoria 's important new book.
Delighted to see that he has already created a consternation amongst the usual suspects.
As @vikramsampath ji's endorsement affirms, it is a mature, sagacious and professional voice for Dharma and that is what they fear.
Keeping in mind the rising fuel costs in the country, I bought an MG Windsor EV a few months ago. I genuinely believed I was making a smart decision. Unfortunately, what followed has been one of the worst ownership experiences of my life.
About a month ago, while returning from my son's school, a speeding Mahindra Thar rammed into my car from behind. My vehicle was moving at barely 30–35 km/h when the impact pushed it into an Innova ahead. The rear section of the car suffered significant damage.
The very same day, I handed the vehicle over to MG's service center for repairs.
From that point onward, for weeks, I kept making the same phone call:
"When will my car be ready ?"
Every time, I received a different excuse.
Last Saturday , I was informed that the repair work had been completed and only the insurance company's delivery order was pending. I was assured that the order would arrive on Monday and the car would be handed over immediately.
Monday came and went.
By afternoon, having heard nothing, I decided to visit the workshop myself.
And that's when the real story began.
The service advisor responsible for my vehicle didn't even know where the car was parked. After searching across three floors, we finally discovered it in the basement.
What I saw there left me speechless.
The car was in worse condition than it had been immediately after the accident.
At that moment, I realized that my biggest mistake wasn't the accident it was buying an MG. In the last 20 years, I have owned vehicles from almost every major automobile manufacturer. I've dealt with repairs, insurance claims, and service centers countless times. But I have never experienced such disorganization, negligence , and lack of accountability from any company.
Keeping a customer's vehicle for nearly a month, providing misleading updates, and then not even knowing where the car is parked is not poor service it's complete disrespect for the customer's time , trust, and money.
As I was leaving the workshop, I told the advisor "Brother, sell this car for whatever you can get even if I have to take a loss of a few lakhs. I don't have the courage to bring it home anymore. If I ever have to come back to this workshop again, I might genuinely lose my mind."
People may debate how good or bad the MG Windsor EV is as a product.
But as far as MG's after-sales service is concerned, my verdict is final.
This has been, without a doubt, the worst customer service experience I have ever had with any automobile company.
If you're considering buying an MG vehicle, don't just visit the showroom. Spend some time at their service center first. The difference between the two may help you make a much better decision.

With due respect, I will disagree here, Sir. We assume the internet is a neutral jungle where a dumb algo just exploits natural human behavior. That is a naive view of 21st century geopolitics. State actors, heavily funded think-tanks & foreign intelligence apparatuses use a deliberate, top-down methodology to target civilizations:
- Layer 1 creates a narrative framework (e.g., framing India as fundamentally unsafe/primitive/structurally unfixable).
- Layer 2 uses automated networks to artificially force these narratives past the platform's initial algo safety thresholds.
- Once the topic is trending globally, the greedy grifters & fragmented domestic factions pick it up organically. The top-down operation succeeds because it tricks the civilian population into fighting a war on its behalf.
Chanakya in the Arthashastra dedicated exhaustive chapters to dealing with Upajapa (foreign psychological subversion & propaganda). Chanakya’s framework makes it clear that when a state is faced with a programmed, external campaign designed to widen its internal cracks, the state must transition from defensive isolation to active neutralization.
In information theory, we cannot destroy a bad narrative by trying to suppress it; we can only destroy it by overwhelming it with a superior, high-frequency positive narrative. Instead of playing on the adversary's battlefield (defending ourselves against their framing), India’s internet demographic must create its own algorithmic gravity.
This means aggressively exporting & algorithmically boosting India’s actual civilizational, scientific & structural breakthroughs, making the cost of running a smear campaign prohibitively expensive & culturally irrelevant.
PRESS STATEMENT | Big win in New York!
Constitutionally flawed New York caste bills fail. This reflects 5 years of sustained HAF-led legal, educational, and grassroots advocacy with coalition partners across states. New York marks the sixth state that has introduced legislation to add caste as a standalone category, but with HAF’s education and outreach, none of these bills have passed.
Special thanks to @JeniferRajkumar for her support.

This is what I keep saying for past 20 years, and keep getting attacked by low iq feel good folks. They are being fed bakvas by the media, think tanks, influencers, academics, and all sorts of sarkari mediocre with inflated egos. Sporadic accomplishments here and there get exaggerated to feed the fragile egos.
It was an inside job!
We’ve watched our @Wikipedia page completely defaced & vandalized for 5 years that rendered @HinduAmerican unrecognizable.
This investigation by @AshleyRindsberg@npovmedia blows the cover off of what appears to be a concerted attack on HAF by a cabal of 4 editors—two of whom are apparently tied to Audrey Truschke & the fringe group, Hindus for Human Rights.
Trangabellam, Kautilya3, Lightex and Shainshah121 are responsible for 80% of the entire content of the HAF wiki page. Who are they?
✅Trangabellam created, protected & shaped Audrey Truschke’s Wikipedia page while they defaced HAF’s with unsubstantiated slurs.
✅Lightex actually disclosed “past work with “Hindus for Human Rights,” created that group’s wiki page (against wiki’s own rules) & then attacked HAF’s wiki page changing the lead to cast HAF as a “far-right nationalist organization.”
✅ Shahinshah121 added false allegations that HAF is “Hindutva” & “under investigation by the DOJ for acting as a foreign agent” while promoting Truschke’s “South Asian Scholars Collective” within hours of it being formed.
✅ Kautilya3, the 2nd most active editor of the HAF page, erased all information that provided an HAF perspective to allegations, including that “HAF has absolutely no links” to various foreign orgs. He then added the line that “HAF repackaged the Hindu nationalist agenda in the language of ‘Hindu rights’ to suit mainstream American politics.”
So I know many will ask, “Why are you crying about this on twitter—do something about it.”
Well, read the full article and see how one of Wikipedia’s 32 most powerful editors, Vanamonde93 blocked attempts to balance the HAF Wiki page and actually defaced it further.
Watch the video below and read the full article. If this can happen to the oldest and most respected Hindu American organization in the United States, who else is in the crosshairs? Who’s next?
For years, major institutions have framed India and Hindus through the lens of nationalism, extremism, and suspicion. But what we've uncovered on @Wikipedia raises a deeper question: who gets to write the public record?
Our investigation found that a small cluster of anonymous editors controlled more than 80% of the @HinduAmerican page. Among the findings:
Blatant Conflict of Interest: The editors aggressively shaping HAF’s page were the exact same people controlling the Wikipedia profiles of HAF's legal adversaries and academic critics.
Inserting False FARA Allegations: Editors laundered complaints from HAF's opponents into "facts," using demands for a DOJ investigation to falsely brand HAF as a foreign agent
Administrative Silencing: An admin with supreme platform permissions deleted quotes from HAF's leadership, stripping the organization of its right to reply to allegations.
Over four years (2021-2025), editors systematically erased HAF’s identity as an American civil rights group, transforming its Wikipedia page into a heavily curated dossier of accusations. Our report from @npovmedia documents how it happened. 👇
Way back in 2019, I reported extensively about the Globarena Intermediate marks fiasco in Telangana.
In fact, I had run a major campaign on my media company Mojo TV. We were the first TV channel up pick the story too.
23 students died by suicide, I spoke with all their families and it was truly heartbreaking.
I remember one particular case where a single mother who worked as a farm labour was very proud of her bright daughter. The entire village came to support her education, everyone pitched in with books, commute and all expenses. When the Globarena marks mess up happened, she cried the whole night. Her mother told her it is okay, and she can go for reevaluation or write the exam again, morning the mother wakes up to see her daughter hanging in the middle of the house.
I had demanded blacklisting Globarena, arresting the officials. But I guess companies like Globarena are pests that never die, they just transform into something bigger and dangerous and come back to haunt.
Globarena now has become Coempt Edu Teck that messed-up the CBSE evaluation.
Globarena in 2019 messed up results of 9.74 lakh students in Telangana. Out of this total, approximately 3.8 lakh students failed. 23 suicides were reported. Back then too Globarena failed to provide the answer sheets.
After all this, Globarena transforms into Coempt Edu Teck, messes up the future of 18.5 lakh CBSE students across the country.
It is almost like they got rewarded for bad behaviour.
The officials who were giving approvals for CBSE just 74 days prior knew the history of Coempt Edu Teck. They knew the company is incompetent, but still decided to go ahead and give them the tender.
Yes, the Globarena/ Coempt Edu Teck guys are fabulous at landing tenders. The names and associations of Coempt Edu Teck board now seem to run pretty deep in the highest offices.
Unless the rot is burnt right from the root level, this won’t stop. All board members, directors, CEO, investors, government employees that tweaked the system to ensure Coempt Edu Teck got the contract should be dragged to the courts & never should be allowed near any business again.
But in this country that is so much in love with corruption, I doubt if this will ever change. Coempt Edu Teck may soon get the tender for all exams across the country.
PS: To all the students, one exam is not the end. Kudos to your fight. Keep fighting, never ever give up.
And if you are feeling low, speak with friends and family or reach out to any helplines.

Will Sabeer Bhatia advise the Jews to "appreciate" the Holocaust chapter of their history?
As a matter of fact, only because the Jews remember the history and said "Never again", have they been able to build Israel and all its technological prowess and they have also revived the Hebrew language.
Bharat will do all of it - we will rebuild our great civilization, we will remember our history (Never again!) and honor the memory of our ancestors, and we will also revive our great languages.
Friends, time to fight the false narratives!
Colonialists tell us our history is not our history.
Colonialists tell us our gods are not our gods. Of course, don’t ask me about the categorizations, labels, and psychoanalytics they put on our goddesses.
Colonialists tell us our texts our not our texts.
Colonialists tell us our sages and ancestors are not our ancestors.
If we counter those constructs colonialists throw fit and scream at us.
Call us names trying to prove everything we show with facts is wrong.
Some #ColonizedMinds
But it’s important and incumbent on us to counter these colonialist narratives. #ReclaimHistory
#NoAryans
There is nothing called “Steppe genes/DNA”
The oldest Female DNA M and male DNA C are in India. All non-African genetic clades derive from the Founder M & C, hence India is known as the #FoundersZone

For decades, a dangerous maxim has circulated within the intellectual circles of Indian civilization: "Do not engage with fabricators, for you only give them traction."
This advice, while well-intentioned in a pre-digital era, has become the primary oxygen supply for historical distortion. To remain silent on a public square like X is to misunderstand the very physics of modern information warfare.
Modern search algos, AI models & public archives do not recognize dignified silence. They recognize data points. If a distorted claim is made about an ancient Indian artifact/event & the native community chooses to ignore it out of a sense of superiority, a factual vacuum is created.
The algo fills this vacuum with the only available text, the distortion. Over time, that unchallenged distortion is scraped by artificial intelligence, cited in Wikipedia entries & embedded into global academic bibliographies.
By staying silent to avoid "giving traction," we are actually handing the opposition a permanent monopoly over the narrative. We are not starving the fire of oxygen; we are letting it burn down the library uncontested.
With respect, Sir, you are confusing Spiritual Mauna (internal silence of the ego) with Social Akarma (cowardice in the face of intellectual subversion).
The Shatapatha Brahmana (2.2.2.19) teaches us that Truth on earth is like a sacred fire, it does not survive on its own; it must be actively fed with fuel (Yajna). If we do not feed it data, the fire goes out.
Furthermore, the Nyaya Sutras of Sage Gautama explicitly list Ananubhashana (remaining silent when a false argument is presented in public) not as 'wealth,' but as a Nigrahasthana, an automatic point of defeat. By the laws of ancient Indian logic, if we are silent against a fabrication, we have legally conceded the debate.
When the elders of Kurukshetra sat in 'dignified, thoughtless silence' during the disrobing of Draupadi, they too thought they were playing a 'long test match' of patience. That passive silence did not protect the truth; it ensured the total annihilation of their civilization.
Truth does not fight digital algos on its own. We are the instruments of that truth. If we do not speak, the distortion becomes the default history for our grandchildren. Passivity is not Dharma.
For a century, it was considered reasonable for Western museums to keep ancient Indian artifacts in basements, to label Vedic astronomy as borrowed from the Greeks & to treat native oral histories as fairy tales. Their idea of a reasonable discussion is a 1 way lecture where they speak from a podium & the native population nods in silent agreement.
In the Anvikshiki (ancient Indian science of inquiry/logic), a debate is only considered complete through Purvapaksha (deeply studying the opponent's view) & Uttarapaksha (dismantling it with counter-evidence).
The pushback Miano is experiencing on X is Uttarapaksha in action. Regular citizens are tagging him with satellite imagery, excavation reports & genetic data from Rakhigarhi (which showed zero steppe pastoralist DNA in the Harappan individual, dealing a fatal blow to the Aryan invasion myth). He cannot counter the data, so he labels the platform "Low IQ" & retreats to a safer digital space.
Then how are generation of bereaucrats in the top 0.1% of the. Country in terms of wealth, their kids go to foreign universities on fully paid up tuitions and some of the them have so much cash in their houses which will give Pablo Escobar an inferiority complex?
