I am deeply disturbed by reports of atrocities committed by Eritrean troops in Tigray. The international community must demand justice and hold those responsible for these brutal killings accountable. https://t.co/ewkuXYLNAZ
This story about the horrible massacre of Tigrayan prisoners shows why the path to peace in Ethiopia requires that those on all sides who have committed gross human rights abuses must be held accountable and brought to justice.

Strange tweet from Getachew Reda, the first from a leadership’s member. “Our survival as people is at stake”. "If a peace agreement can ensure" it, “why not give it a try”? But that’s a big big “if”. After the TDF disarmament, what could the Tigreans do if this try fails?

As Ethiopian and Eritrean troops mobilize and again attack, “Millions of civilians in Tigray are under blockade. Hundreds of thousands may be starving. Almost no food or medicine has come in since the fighting resumed.” https://t.co/XWIakebd8L
US is falling behind in world diplomacy because it is failing to balance its national interest with human rights. It stands for human rights only when it serves its geopolitics. When it doesn't, it ignores it as much as possible. Such a duplicity is giving Russian/China an edge.
