Understanding myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome—an elusive condition that often follows an infection and shares many similarities with #LongCovid—could improve long #COVID19 research, argues a recent #SciencePerspective. https://t.co/EtBHcNqnCm
I wish more people would listen to their bodies. These are scientific facts. This isn’t normal. I at 38, shouldn’t have had to get an echocardiogram today -NO. I shouldn’t be on a 5 month waiting wait list to see the best LC doctor in San Antonio. Pay attention Covid isn’t over
It may seem shocking to hear stats like 7.5% of US population have #LongCovid, but I bring it up in conversation & will hear… “yeah, I get dizzy randomly while I’m up now” or “My vision has never been the same since” or “I can’t exercise like I did before.”
#ThatsLongCovid
@anonresister@AbrahamAubry I’m 10 months in, but 2 months after Covid I was still sick day diagnosed with Bronchitis due to my severe cough/after X-rays; I was put on antibiotics and steroids & never felt better. After the meds wore off I began my LC journey & here I am 10 months later. I now have asthma.
Getting an Echocardiogram. First time #CovidLongHauler over here. Fingers cross things are well. These fevers, shortness of breath, and fatigue are insane! #MEaction 10 months in!! Results next week!
