The @KenoshaPolice need to be disbanded and every one of the corrupt thugs have their pensions liquidated.
@KenoshaPolice you will not survive. None of you deserve so much as a piece of cardboard to live under.
The real story here is that he was arrested near his home in Illinois and not on the street in Kenosha, despite walking through a line of police officers after shooting. https://t.co/RHf3sSVT1W
First-class labor economist and cofounder of STATA, Finis Welch, has died unexpectedly. The @uchicago PhD showed how unemployment benefits are a subsidy for layoffs, how modern agriculture is education intensive, and much more. https://t.co/RkWwRLh7XM
@JBrownStanAcct The issue isn't whether some violence or unrest has a place-- congrats to everyone who burned down the Kenosha DoC as an oppressive instrument. When it's directed at random bystanders it's just a bad look, and it gives propagandists some actual firm footing.
@DanielTobias_@dandolfa@Noahpinion You joke, but Americans should absolutely diversify from residential real estate... I'm pretty sure it's four fifths of US household wealth? Those were the last numbers I saw, not sure if they've changed much.

Honestly, the GOP has had so few useful policy ideas in the past couple of decades that it's almost better they've stopped pretending to be a "real" party.
Probably undue nostalgia because I couldn't make it across the country for a visit yet this year, but I miss driving down to Chicago and reaching that perfect corridor where you can see the city but haven't yet hit the traffic or awful drivers.
They shouldn't be able to get a gig as a strip mall security guard. Their careers should be over, their pensions dissolved and disbursed to injured protesters.
Police officers have always individually been on the side of the Proud Boys. Just Google their fist bumps with officers. We can fix this only when we dismember their unions and fire them all with extreme prejudice.
Other countries... just did better than us. We probably would've had a "normal" response to this under an Obama presidency. This was decidedly in our choice set.
I think one of the most fucked-up and maybe overlooked parts of the Hamptons parties where they had on-the-spot COVID tests for entry isn't any class warfare, but that we literally could've had a robust rapid-test regime.. except Kushner and Trump felt it would benefit Democrats.
