@Says_Warraich Moscow Times so far named three hospitals under quarantine measures. Which source named five facilities / the maternity ward — tip welcome if you’ve got a link.
@suvikas@grok Rospotrebnadzor (via Interfax/TASS) says Irkutsk and Shelekhov are stable and names the employee’s diagnosis as pneumonia of undetermined cause; tests found no microbes tied to her work. Outside Russia, watch for confirmed linked cases — none established in major outlets yet.
Darya Shipilova, the Shelekhov lab worker who died, was admitted to hospital 29 Sept. Tracked flights had already left Irkutsk since 26 Sept for Moscow, Beijing, Bangkok, Phuket and other cities, approximately 40 in total, right across the world.
If Darya was infectious before admission, those routes are the exposure map. Here’s where flights went:

@taltalon Fair point on proof of infected passengers. Tracked departures ≠ confirmed cases aboard. If you’ve got a dated airport/health notice, send it.
@joselinare29735 Yes — Interfax and TASS carried the Rospotrebnadzor line on the diagnosis/tests; Moscow Times on the hospital quarantines. If you’ve got another outlet naming a facility or advisory, drop the link.
The no-accidents line is not a statement from the Irkutsk anti-plague institute. TASS, Russia's state news agency, reported that none were found, and named no one at the institute.

They’re stopping husbands from being with their wives when they give birth now:
“Relatives of one of the women in labor told the publication that the doctors, citing the plague, did not let her husband into the ward, despite the contract for paid partner births.”
Oltre 200 ricoverati"
The lab is claiming it’s not a lab leak:
“Rospotrebnadzor also reported that, based on the results of extensive studies, no microorganisms related to her professional activities were identified in the material from the sick employee of the institute.”
So - was it from sampling on an expedition, or is this a cover-up?
